Planet Lincoln Collects Donation for Matthew’s Birthday

Randall Reed’s Planet Lincoln in Spring, Texas is proud to support and help make an 11-year-old boy’s birthday wish to help others come true. Planet Lincoln has a collection bin in the new Lincoln showroom at the front desk to collect non-perishable food donations now through October 31st.

Donations collected will be provided to Matthew, a wonderful young man who started this ongoing birthday wish when he was 8 years old (going on nine).

How to Help!

This years wish is to create 750 packets and feed over a 100 families in Conroe ISD this Thanksgiving Holiday! Let’s help him! Bring in canned foods, peanut butter, etc. Please do not bring perishable or glass items.

This marks the tenth month that he has achieved this honor! Mr. Moore has been employed with Planet Lincoln for three years as of last July. His accomplishment proves that through hard work and dedication you can achieve success.

Mr. Moore was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Texas to attend college. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Texas Southern University. He currently lives in Spring with his beautiful bride of eight years. They have five children. When Mr. Moore is not helping customers with their automotive needs, he enjoys spending his free time with family.

The client can book and track the progress of the service via the Lincoln Way app.

Lincoln is the only luxury automaker to provide standard Pickup and Delivery service as part of the vehicle’s warranty.
Pilot Programs

Lincoln Continental Earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+ Award

It comes as no surprise to our team at Randall Reed’s Planet Lincoln in Spring, Texas (serving The Woodlands, Cypress, Aldine, Conroe, Houston) that the all-new Lincoln Continental’s earned a top safety pick award.

The luxury sedan, available Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection system, garnered the highest award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) due to its available crash prevention system, along with the good rating achieved on crash tests and its optional adaptive LED headlamps.

The Lincoln Continental (with Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection) avoided collisions in track tests at 12 mph and 25 mph. The system’s forward collision warning component also meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration criteria.

The car’s available adaptive LED headlamps earned a good rating, providing ample lighting on a straightaway and on most curves. The headlamps use high-beam assist, a feature that automatically switches between high beams and low beams, depending on the presence of other vehicles.

Vehicles qualify for a Top Safety Pick+ if they have good ratings in five crashworthiness tests – small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraints – plus an available front crash prevention system that earns a superior or advanced rating, and good or acceptable headlights. The Lincoln Continental delivered on all aspects. Lincoln Navigator has “Longer” List of Reasons to Buy

With this new extended-length Navigator, Lincoln is unveiling Destination. It is a new Black Label interior theme that celebrates the love and art of travel.

Destination takes its inspiration from items such as vintage luggage and hearkens back to a time when travel was rich with excitement and intrigue. Mahogany Red Venetian leather with an intricate diamond weave on the seats is complemented by khaya wood laser-etched appliqués that lightly echo the pattern.

“There’s so much fine detailing throughout this interior,” said David Woodhouse, Lincoln design director. “While it’s monochromatic, it is rich, warm and inviting through the use of color and textures. The look is truly indulgent and luxurious.”

Navigator comes in two other Lincoln Black Label interior themes, as well – Chalet and Yacht Club.

Lincoln Black Label offers the ultimate expression of Lincoln style and substance, providing clients personal service and a host of exclusive membership privileges. Lincoln Tops AutoPacific Satisfaction Awards

The satisfaction awards are based on owner responses to surveys regarding the owner’s overall ownership experience. “The Vehicle Satisfaction Awards look at the big picture,” said George Peterson, AutoPacific president. “They measure 49 separate attributes, ranging from interior comfort and styling to fuel economy and performance. They go deeper into the heart of the ownership experience.”

This is the 21st anniversary of AutoPacific, which identifies the most satisfying vehicles based on survey responses from more than 54,000 owners of new 2016 and 2017 cars and light trucks.

“Our lineup of new vehicles and personalized ownership privileges is making a difference for our clients,” said Kumar Galhotra, president, The Lincoln Motor Company. “It’s changing the luxury experience.”

Robb Report Names Lincoln Continental Best Luxury Sedan
