It’s a sad and somber anniversary. Today marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The memories, the images… it’s a moment in time that everyone remembers. Even those who are too young have seen the images of the President and his wife, Jackie, as they rode through the city of Dallas waving to the crowds in a 1961 four-door Lincoln Continental convertible.

The iconic vehicle is now housed in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. Today, the museum is remembering the President with specials events, exhibits and is waiving the admission fee to allow more people the opportunity to visit the exhibit and remember JFK.
