J.D. Power’s 2013 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study was released Wednesday, July 24th, 2013. Everyone at Randall Reed’s Planet Lincoln in Spring, TX (serving The Woodlands, Cypress and the Greater Houston Area) is thrilled that J.D. Power and Associates has awarded the 2013 Lincoln MKZ with the most appealing Compact Premium Car. According to the results of new owners surveyed, it beat out the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4/A5.
J.D. Powers APEAL Study, a study which measures new-vehicle appeal, is based on responses gathered between February and May 2013. Over 83,000 purchases and lessees of new 2013 model-year cars and light trucks were surveyed after the first 90 days of ownership.

“Appealing vehicles are simply good news for both consumers and automakers,” said David Sargent, vice president of global automotive at J.D. Power. New buyers have three engine options for the MKZ; a turbocharged 4-cylinder, a V-6 or a hybrid powertrain. All options include a retractable glass roof and all-wheel drive.
